Position Overview

We are seeking a Legal Assistant to support paralegals, attorneys and case teams with administrative, procedural, and client‑facing tasks. This role is critical to maintaining workflow efficiency, meeting deadlines, and delivering a strong client experience.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, comfortable handling multiple priorities, and experienced in a fast‑paced legal environment.

Key Responsibilities


Case & Administrative Support


Prepare, format, and file legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings

Maintain electronic and physical case files with accuracy and confidentiality

Track deadlines, court dates, and filing requirements

Assist with document management, discovery, and records requests


Client & Communication Support


Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and third parties

Schedule appointments, meetings, and hearings

Assist with intake follow‑up and ongoing client communication as assigned


Paralegal and Attorney Support

Support attorneys with case preparation and organization

Proofread documents for accuracy, formatting, and completeness

Ensure attorneys have necessary documents and information in advance of deadlines


Qualifications (Required)

1+ years of experience as a legal assistant or in a law firm administrative role

Strong organizational and time‑management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication

High attention to detail and ability to follow procedures

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion


Preferred (Not Required)


Experience with case management software

Familiarity with court filing procedures (state and/or federal)

Prior experience in a fast‑growing or high‑volume firm
