About Yale Law Firm
Yale Law Firm is a mission‑driven estate planning and probate law firm based in San Antonio. We help individuals protect their families through thoughtful planning and guide loved ones through the legal process after a death. We combine legal excellence with modern systems, technology, and marketing to make high‑quality legal services accessible across Texas.
Position Overview
We are seeking an Intake Sales Manager to design, build, and lead our intake and sales function from the ground up. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for both direct revenue generation and the development of a scalable sales operation.
You will initially perform intake and sales activities yourself while simultaneously building the infrastructure—people, scripts, training, and metrics—that will support a growing team.
This role is ideal for someone who has outgrown individual contributor roles and is ready to own results, build systems, and lead others.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead the firm’s intake and sales team from the ground up, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
- Personally conduct outbound and inbound sales activities during the build phase, including calling former clients, following up on leads, and converting prospects into scheduled consultations.
- Develop, test, and refine intake and sales scripts for inbound calls, outbound outreach, follow‑ups, and workshop attendees.
- Create and manage KPIs, dashboards, and reporting related to lead flow, conversion rates, show rates, and revenue.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate workshops, seminars, and presentations, including outbound marketing efforts to fill events.
- Oversee follow‑up systems to ensure no lead or former client is neglected.
- Collaborate with marketing, attorneys, and leadership to align messaging, campaigns, and capacity.
- Establish consistent intake standards to ensure every prospective client receives a professional, empathetic, and high‑quality experience.
- Continuously optimize processes, tools, and team performance as the firm grows.
Required Skills and Characteristics
- High ethical standards, honesty, and ownership mindset.
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to inspire, train, and hold others accountable.
- Exceptional communication skills paired with genuine empathy.
- Proven ability to ask for appointments, guide conversations, and close with professionalism.
- Comfort with outbound sales, follow‑up, and re‑engagement campaigns.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Consistent care and professionalism, regardless of time of day or workload.
- Natural curiosity and desire to improve systems and results.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in sales management, intake management, or building sales teams.
- Prior work in a law firm, professional services, or high‑trust sales environment.
- Probate or estate planning experience is a plus, but not required.
- Experience with CRM systems, call tracking, and performance metrics.
- Experience conducting or supporting workshops, seminars, or presentations.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive base salary.
- Generous bonus and commission opportunities tied to performance and growth.
- Paid time off and paid holidays.
- Comprehensive health insurance.
- Ongoing training in sales, leadership, marketing, and legal business operations.
- Modern technology, cutting‑edge case management software, and CRM systems.
- Newly renovated office located in the Catholic Life Insurance Building with walking trails and private gazebo.
