Description

At xyzABA, we are committed to improving the quality of life for children and adolescents on the autism spectrum. We are looking for experienced, highly adaptable Full-Time Lead Flex RBTs to join our team in the DFW area (Carrollton, Plano, Frisco, Allen, Wylie, McKinney, etc.).

This is NOT an entry-level position—this role is ideal for highly skilled RBTs who can quickly adapt to new client environments, jump into sessions with minimal transition time, and confidently follow treatment plans without extensive training.

What Makes This Role Different?

  • Full-Time Stability with Built-in Flexibility – Unlike many full-time RBT positions where cancellations mean lost hours, this role guarantees 30-40 hours per week. However, your schedule will not be fixed—you will be expected to flex based on client needs.
  • Be the Best, Get Paid the Best – This isn’t a typical RBT position. We recognize that being highly adaptable requires skill, confidence, and experience, which is why this is one of the highest-paying full-time RBT positions at xyzABA.
  • A Hybrid Role that Keeps You Moving – You won’t be sitting in the same home or clinic every day. One day, you might be at a client’s home helping with early intervention, the next, you might be at the clinic assisting with assessments or training. This is for RBTs who love variety and are energized by new challenges.
  • No Monotony, No Stagnation – If you thrive in dynamic environments, enjoy adapting to new situations, and like the challenge of jumping into different cases, this is the role for you. Every day will look different.
  • A Clear Pathway to Leadership – Unlike typical RBT roles that are strictly session-based, this position is designed for those who want to level up. If you excel, you’ll be on a direct pathway to Lead RBT, Clinical Trainer, or BCBA roles.

What You’ll Be Doing:

--> Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Be on-call for session coverage within xyzABA’s DFW service areas (Carrollton, Plano, Frisco, Allen, Wylie, McKinney, etc.).
  • Travel between session locations as needed (xyzABA ensures travel time between sessions does not exceed 30-60 minutes whenever possible).
  • Quickly pair with new clients and implement individualized behavior intervention plans with minimal preparation.
  • Work independently with confidence and problem-solving skills, ensuring a smooth transition when covering for another therapist.
  • Maintain clear and timely communication with the scheduling team regarding availability and session updates.
  • Complete session documentation in a timely manner (within 24-48 hours of session completion).

--> Non-Billable Responsibilities (Clinic-Based)

  • When not in session, assist with additional paid responsibilities that align with your skill set, interest, and company / client needs (program material preparation, data review, staff training, team collaboration, etc).
  • Participate in weekly staff meetings, clinical huddles, and professional development sessions.
  • Support scheduling needs, coverage coordination, or parent communication as directed.
  • Engage in hands-on learning, case discussions, and skill-building activities to enhance clinical performance.

Who Should Apply?

  • Experienced RBTs who can quickly and confidently adapt to new client environments and implement ABA strategies without extensive training.
  • Those who love variety and are excited by the idea of working with different clients in different settings rather than following a rigid, repetitive schedule.
  • RBTs who are comfortable traveling within our service areas and working with different clients as needed.
  • Professionals seeking higher pay, guaranteed full-time hours, and career advancement opportunities.
  • RBTs who want hands-on clinical exposure in both home-based and clinic-based settings and are open to additional remote or clinic-based work when not in session.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of RBT experience preferred (must be able to work independently).
  • Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to quickly establish rapport with new clients and follow treatment plans with minimal prep.
  • Must have reliable transportation to travel between locations.
  • Must be comfortable with a flexible schedule and being placed where needed daily.

Why xyzABA?

  • Competitive Pay: One of the highest-paying full-time RBT positions at xyzABA, reflecting the skill and adaptability required.
  • Guaranteed Full-Time Hours: No need to worry about cancellations—your 30-40 hours per week are secured.
  • Career Growth: Professional development, mentorship, and opportunities to advance into Lead RBT, Clinical Trainer, or BCBA roles.
  • Benefits: Health insurance, PTO, Holiday pay, paid training, quarterly bonus potential and additional incentives.
  • Supportive Team Culture: Work alongside dedicated BCBAs and experienced therapists in a collaborative, high-quality clinical setting.
