Xylo Risk, Inc. Senior GCP Software Engineer San Francisco, CA · Boulder, CO · Oakland, CA · Remote · Part time Company website

We are looking for a Senior GCP Software Engineer to continue building and operating the cloud platform that runs our simulations and delivers results to customers. You will design APIs, orchestrate large-scale simulation processing jobs, and work on the logging, observability, and security that keep the platform reliable and trustworthy. A core part of this role is customer access: hardening the front-end-facing services and, in time, the customer-exposed APIs that let carriers, agencies, and partners securely retrieve their risk data. This is a senior software engineering role at the center of how XyloPlan turns "Fast Fires" physics into wildfire risk products that insurance carriers and fire agencies depend on.

About Xylo Risk, Inc.

XyloPlan’s mission is to use science to guide community adaptation to wildfire in fire dependent landscapes to minimize losses, promote healthy ecosystems, and support successful economic markets. We combine speed-based fire behavior modeling with compelling storytelling to help communities properly prioritize wildfire resiliency efforts.
