Audio Video Installer


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Audio Video Installer to join our dynamic team at WyreDreams. As an Audio Video Installer, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining audiovisual systems for residential and commercial clients. You will work closely with our project managers and clients to ensure the successful installation and integration of audiovisual equipment.


- Install and configure audiovisual systems, including speakers, projectors, displays, amplifiers, control panels, and other related equipment, according to project specifications and industry standards.

-installations include but is not limited to (tv's, speakers, cameras, WAPs, touch panels, keypads, home theater screens, thermostats, etc..), rack building & lacing, service & troubleshooting, additional configuration (DVR's, NVR's, receivers, end user devices), running & terminating (Cat5, Cat6, Cat7, Coax, Rj45's, Fiber, etc..), prewiring, retro fitting, etc..

- Perform thorough testing and troubleshooting of audiovisual systems to ensure proper functionality and performance.

- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and clients to determine project requirements, objectives, and timelines.

- Conduct site surveys to assess the environment and identify any potential challenges or requirements for the installation.

- Ensure all installations are completed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with applicable codes and regulations.

- Provide training and technical support to clients on the operation and maintenance of installed audiovisual systems.

- Keep up-to-date with the latest audiovisual technologies, industry trends, and best practices.

- Maintain accurate records of project details, equipment inventory, and service documentation.

- Collaborate with the team to develop and improve installation processes and procedures.

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training in audiovisual systems installation is preferred.

- Proven experience as an Audio Video Installer or similar role, with a strong understanding of audiovisual technologies, equipment, and installation techniques.

- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and vendors.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects.

- Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
