Wright is looking for a summer intern with experience in power electronics to advance its electric aircraft program. This is a hands-on position that will assist with developing and analyzing a variety of power conversion and transmission technologies for future electric and hybrid aircraft. Requirements for this position include: 

Required:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Currently enrolled in a graduate program in Power Electronics or closely related field
• Experience with power electronics simulation in Matlab or Plecs
• Experience with inverters and motor drives

Desired

• Experience with electric aircraft technologies
• Experience with motor drives and motor control
• Experience with DC circuit protection
• Experience with system-level simulation
