Prepare applications for new business commercial lines policies. Handle changes to, reinstatement of, and cancellation of insurance policies. Manage the renewal process for assigned book of business, making sure policies are renewed timely and accurately.
Description
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handles the service for the assigned book of business with accuracy.
- Remarket and renew policies in assigned book of business.
- Prepare and market new business applications.
- Prepare proposals for the assigned producer
- Handles all commercial lines customer communication – pro-active (actively looking for ways to help people) and re-active (adjusting actions in relation to others’ actions).
- Performs functions on the agency management system (EPIC) proficiently and assists others as needed.
- Prepares new and renewal accounts for marketing, placement, and delivery to customer.
- Establishes themselves as a Trusted Advisor to the customers and others as needed.
- Recommend coverages to the producer that may be missing from the account.
- Handle customer inquires with prompt and accurate response.
- Responsible for development and enhancements of customer service programs and recommends coverages.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as required.
Qualification for the Job:
- Idaho Licensed Resident Producer (Not required at the time of hire) - Property and Casualty Designation
- Continual Education will be required as mandated by Department of Insurance
- Computer proficiency needed in Microsoft Office (outlook, word, excel)
- High level of communication and interpersonal skills
- Competent in interpersonal skills and detailed oriented
- Aptitude for Sales/Demonstrates a strong sales skill set
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Work is performed in an office environment.
