Key Responsibilities:
Bathing and Cleaning:
- Bathing dogs using appropriate shampoos and conditioners based on their coat type.
- Brushing and detangling fur to prevent mats and tangles.
- Drying dogs thoroughly using towels and blow dryers.
Haircuts and Trimming:
- Cutting, trimming, or styling dogs' fur according to breed standards or customer preferences.
- Shaping and clipping nails safely.
- Cleaning and trimming hair around eyes, ears, and paws.
Ear and Teeth Cleaning:
- Cleaning dogs' ears to remove dirt and wax buildup.
- Brushing teeth and gums to maintain oral hygiene and prevent dental issues.
Health and Safety:
- Inspecting dogs for signs of skin conditions, fleas, ticks, or other health concerns.
- Reporting any concerns to the pet owner or a veterinarian.
