Overview:

Join our aquatics team at Woodcroft Tennis & Swim Club as a Lifeguard! We’re seeking responsible, attentive, and energetic individuals who are passionate about water safety and creating a fun, welcoming pool environment. As a Lifeguard, you play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our members and guests while helping maintain a positive and professional pool atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain active surveillance of the pool area at all times.
• Enforce all pool rules consistently and professionally to ensure a safe environment.
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies in accordance with established Emergency Action Plans (EAP).
• Administer first aid, CPR, and/or AED care when necessary.
• Perform routine facility checks, including water chemistry testing and reporting concerns to management.
• Assist with pool setup and daily opening/closing procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of the pool deck, guard room, and surrounding areas.
• Provide excellent customer service to members and guests, answering questions and addressing concerns respectfully.
• Communicate clearly with fellow guards and Aquatics Management regarding incidents, maintenance issues, or member concerns.
• Serve as a positive role model by demonstrating professionalism, teamwork, and strong work ethic.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Current American Red CrossLifeguard Certification or the ability to obtain one.
• Ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods of time.
• Strong communication and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Schedule:

This is a seasonal position for the duration of our summer pool season. Schedules may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Flexible scheduling options are available.
