We are currently seeking a dedicated occupational therapist to join our team and provide services to children and their families in various settings. The successful candidate will have experience working with pediatric populations and a strong understanding of child development. Utilizing equine movement in therapy services is a new aspect of our practice, so experience or interest in this area is a plus. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping children reach their full potential and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

-Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial abilities.

-Develop personalized treatment plans for each patient.

-Provide direct patient care in outpatient settings, daycares/preschools/schools, homes, and the community.

-Educate patients and families on adaptive equipment and techniques.

-Collaborate with other professionals and community members to coordinate patient care.

-Educate families and caregivers on how to support the patient's needs.

-Implement strategies to promote independence in daily activities.
