Wonder is looking for a passionate communications specialist that will be responsible for developing and executing effective media strategies for all Wonder activations. They will be critical in driving growth, engagement, customer acquisition, collaborating with other departments and representing the Wonder family of brands.

Description

What You'll Be Doing

  • Create a media relations strategy and outreach plans
  • Craft press releases, media pitches, whitepapers and media summaries, and remain on top of media coverage
  • Build media lists and maintain close media relations with journalists / news outlets
  • Assist in crafting / reviewing social posts to confirm links, spelling, and brand voice.
  • Work closely with industry influencers to manage external communications activities
  • Submit speaking abstracts and award nominations
  • Develop talking points and messaging for spokespeople

What We’re Looking For

  • 1-2 years of PR and influencer marketing experience, ideally in the event industry
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms and content creation.
  • Passion for gaining media coverage
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • A fun, creative, kind and multi-faceted personality
  • An interest in crafting moments for people globally.
