Description

We are looking for a flexible and reliable individual that can help our business grow by transporting inventory and coordinating staff as the Event Manager. You would be replacing the current senior member of our team and working directly with them while training at events. The first part of your training will be full-time and occur in the local office for approximately 6 months then a hybrid in office and travel position to finish the training. Then you will transition to “full time- waiting for an assignment” meaning there are days to weeks between assigned jobs with some in office training as needed. 


Responsibilities: 

  • Financial management during events. 
  • Managing other event staff members. 
  • Coordinating with executive management, and senior numismatists. 
  • Communicating with vendors and customers during events about sales and purchases. 
  • Scheduling and conducting client meetings. 
  • Transporting and processing inventory before and during events. 
  • Ensuring all necessary supplies are present or acquired.  
  • Travel to events. 
  • Ensuring business standards are upheld by all other event staff.  


Qualifications: 

  • Education: High School Diploma/ GED. 
  • Experience: 
  • Convention/event coordination experience a plus. 
  •  Team leadership. 
  • Basic financial management.  
  • Skills: 
  • High attention to detail. 
  • Critical thinking and problem solving. 
  • Proactive attitude. 
  • Unrestricted active Driver’s License/ Real ID. 
  • Lifting and moving items up to fifty pounds.  
  • Comfortable navigating airports, flying, and long-distance driving.  
  • Attention to detail while completing repetitive tasks. 
  • Team management. 
  • Basic computer usage and equipment setup. 
  • Professional communication and organizational skills. 


Salary

$50,000 - $57,500 per year
