Our Client, an international logistics company with over 100 years of experience in foreign trade, operating in Mexico and Spain, and now undergoing strategic expansion into the United States. THey specialize in providing B2B logistics solutions to high-level clients, combining technology, operational efficiency, and personalized service.


Position Summary:


We are seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead the launch and operations of a new distribution center in Laredo, Texas. This individual will be responsible for establishing processes from the ground up, building the operations team, implementing compliance standards, and collaborating closely with key areas such as customs, transportation, and strategic customers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee inbound, storage, inventory, and outbound operations.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, local regulations, and customs-related requirements.
  • Coordinate with logistics providers, carriers, and corporate clients.
  • Recruit, train, and lead the warehouse and administrative team (warehouse associates, forklift operators, and supervisors).
  • Support the implementation of a WMS and operational dashboards.
  • Track and report KPIs; drive continuous improvement through data-based analysis.



Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business administration, international trade, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in similar roles leading warehouse or logistics operations.
  • Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written) to communicate with customers and vendors.
  • Experience in cross-border logistics, international transportation, and WMS platforms.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, execution, and problem-solving skills.



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience launching operations from scratch.
  • Knowledge of LEAN methodologies or continuous improvement practices.
  • Familiarity with the automotive, electronics, or pharmaceutical industries.

  • Salary Range: USD $70,000 – $75,000 annually (based on experience)
