Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Director of Fundraising & Strategic Partnerships is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive fundraising strategies to support the Wisconsin Latino Chamber of Commerce’s mission. This role involves cultivating and maintaining relationships with key constituents, including corporate partners and foundations, individual donors, reoccurring and one-time major gifts, and community organizations. This role will also foster strategic partnerships to enhance the Chamber's sustainability and serve as a catalyst for growth.
· Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic fundraising plan to meet short term and long-term fundraising goals.
· Meet milestone and benchmarks to ensure annual revenue goals are on target and met.
· Identify and pursue new funding opportunities to support and increase unrestricted funds.
· Create and manage annual fundraising campaigns and annual fundraising events (e.g. galas, donor recognition/appreciation events) to share the mission, vision, and impact of the Chamber.
· Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing benefactors, partners, and “friends” of the Chamber.
· Cultivate a pipeline of prospective donors and grow a portfolio of prospects capable of making gifts and offering financial support.
· Analyze data and trends to inform fundraising strategies and improve donor engagement.
· Develop and implement stewardship plans to ensure donor retention and satisfaction.
· Engage with corporate partners to secure sponsorships and in-kind donations.
· Support Board members as they take on a more active fundraising role.
· Identify and establish strategic partnerships with state-wide Wisconsin businesses, community organizations, and other stakeholders to strengthen the financial vibrancy of the Chamber and solicit financial support.
· Collaborate with external partners to develop joint initiatives that align with the Chamber's mission and support the fundraising strategy.
· Maintain a visible role and represent the Chamber at networking events, meetings, and conferences across the state of Wisconsin.
· Ensure good relationships with existing Chamber Foundation Board members and donors.
· Partner with the Board of Directors, CEO, and CFO to prepare and manage fundraising goals and fundraising budget.
· Report monthly to the Board of Directors on fundraising efforts.
· Partner with CFO to ensure fundraising and revenue targets support the needs of the Chamber, along with timely gift processing, donor recognition, and reporting.
· Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure WLCC fundraising efforts are well-promoted and integrated into the overall communications strategy.
· Partner with Membership Services to create membership due revenue goals.
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
· Minimum of 6 years of experience in fundraising, business development, or a related role.
· Proven track record of successful fundraising and development.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Proficiency in fundraising software and CRM systems.
· Master's degree in a related field.
· Experience working with a Chamber of Commerce or similar organization.
· Knowledge of Latino local business and community landscapes.
· Bilingual English and Spanish
