The Wisconsin Latino Chamber of Commerce seeks an enthusiastic, dynamic, and 

results-driven Bilingual Membership Development Coordinator (MDC)

English/Spanish to spearhead member engagement, retention, and growth 

efforts. This essential role will lead all aspects of membership development, from 

market research and targeted outreach to sales leadership and innovative 

retention initiatives. Reporting directly to the President and CEO, the ideal 

candidate will possess strong sales acumen, a passion for community 

involvement, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. We’re 

seeking a creative, approachable, and results-focused professional committed 

to supporting our diverse and growing community of Latino businesses.


Primary Responsibilities

Membership Growth & Retention

  • Conduct targeted market research to identify new member opportunities 

and underserved markets.

  • Develop and implement effective membership sales strategies and 

outreach materials that resonate with diverse business owners.

  • Drive long-term member retention through engagement programs and 

ongoing, strategic communication efforts.

  • Build and foster relationships with existing members to ensure satisfaction, 

loyalty, and continued growth.


Revenue Generation

  • Lead the Total Resource Campaign (TRC), securing sponsorships and 

donations for major Chamber events such as:

-Latino Business Showcase

-Annual Business Celebration

-Networking Sessions

-Members Workshops

-Additional Chamber events and activities.

  • Develop and implement non-dues revenue programs, including 

promotional packages and opportunities for foundation investments.


Program & Event Coordination

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team on Business Ambassador activities, 

ribbon cuttings, and groundbreaking events.

  • Plan and execute engaging new member orientation programs,

introducing new members to the Chamber’s resources and opportunities.


Administrative & Marketing Support

  • Maintain and update the membership database, ensuring accurate 

member data and activity tracking.

  • Manage Chamber membership software (experience with 

Chamber Master or HubSpot is a plus).

  • Provide day-to-day operational support, assist with organizing events, and 

participate in Chamber activities as needed.


Qualifications & Preferred Competencies

• Education:

  • Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience in a 

related field.

  • Fluency, both in speaking and writing, in Spanish and English required.

• Experience:

  • Proven track record in customer service, membership retention, and 

project management.

  • Strong background in sales and leadership, with the ability to 

collaborate effectively across teams.

  • Experience in community engagement and understanding the 

challenges faced by diverse business owners.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency with member communication tools, CRM systems, and 

technology platforms.

  • Familiarity with design software like Canva (preferred, but not 

required).

Compensation:

$45,000 - $50,000 per year
