WINN Design+Build Residential Construction Production Manager Mc Lean, VA · Full time

The Production Manager is responsible for the entire production process for the company. They coordinate all activities related to the entire production process of the residential remodeling construction jobs. They build, train, mentor, and manage the Production Team. Further, the Production Manager is responsible for assisting in estimating and seeing that all jobs are completed on time, on budget with a high level of quality, and always ensure client satisfaction.



  • Oversee and direct the Production phase of each residential remodeling construction project.
  • Work with Architects, Designers and Production Coordinator to estimate and assemble contract documents.
  • Maintain production schedules and budgets by working closely with the sales, design/selections, and field team.
  • Schedule, manage/supervise and support WINN employees, subcontractors, etc. to ensure the completion of projects.
  • Communicate directly with contractors, designers, subcontractors, and employees concerning cost, staffing, and scheduling.
  • Document company processes and procedures to ensure proper training and adherence for employees and subcontractors.
  • Prepares project status reports and works to ensure projects adhere to contract specifications.
  • Updates the contract documents as changes occur, receives confirmation from clients as well as submits all change orders to Billing.
  • Ensure that all projects comply with all safety and building regulations, including employee safety.
  • Ensure overall project success and client satisfaction.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • 10+ Years in the remodeling industry in a Lead Carpenter or Project Manager position
  • In-depth knowledge of the residential construction procedures and materials including strong analytical and problem-solving skills (preferably in residential remodeling)
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with successful experience in managing multiple projects
  • Effective written and oral communication skills with an emphasis on teamwork and customer service.
  • Excellent time management skills and schedule-driven with a proven ability to meet deadlines, results-oriented.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills to including coaching, counseling and mentoring skills
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.).¬†Ability and willingness to learn/use accounting, word processing, spreadsheet, estimating, and contact management software.¬†Experience with Buildertrend helpful.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position manages the Production Team.
