We are looking to add a Principal Architect – Datacenter to our Technical Services team. The Principal Architect – Datacenter will be responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance to enterprises in the areas of Data Protection, Data Security, Data Access, Virtualization and related technologies.

  • Understand and assess client business and technology challenges, needs, and requirements 
  • Understand and map desired business outcomes and goals to technology initiatives  
  • Develop and present roadmaps and technology lifecycles to stakeholders  
  • Design and architect Data Protection, Data Security, and Data Access solutions  
  • Develop data migration strategies across multiple platforms, models, and cloud providers 
  • Understand existing customer architectures and deployments  
  • Lead technical resource for customer engagements  
  • Acquire and maintain emerging datacenter knowledge  
  • Primary escalation point of contact for chronic issues  
  • Provides technical oversight of all aspects of project(s)  
  • Coordination and collaboration with internal teams, 3rd party vendors and OEMs   
  • Develop and maintain network of peers in the industry inclusive of OEMs, partners, and key contacts 



  • 10+ years as a technical leader (architecture, engineering) in the datacenter domain 
  • Focused on enterprise organizations for a minimum of 5 years 
  • Deep knowledge and experience of datacenter storage systems and concepts 
  • Top-tier OEM and/or industry certification(s) preferred 
  • Knowledge of multiple industries and how their business operates 
  • Strong ability to communicate technical and related business concepts to multiple audiences (non-technical, engineering, architecture, management) 
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills, good listener, ability to connect with different personalities  
  • Ability to solve complex, abstract problems including conflict resolution and mitigation of roadblocks  
  • Organized and methodical with strong prioritization and multi-tasking skills  
  • Self-starter and self-directed  
  • Eternally curious about technology and customer challenges 
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related field strongly preferred
