Will’s Way, LLC in Hattiesburg, MS is looking to hire a full-time licensed psychologist to provide evidence-based psychological services to children and adolescents.

Description

Will’s Way is a small privately owned psychology practice that provides mental health services, psychoeducational evaluations, behavioral school consultation, and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic psychologist to join our team in Hattiesburg to provide psychological services to our families. The primary role will include providing psychological evaluations for autism, ADHD, learning disorders, mood disorders, behavioral difficulties, and school related issues. Additionally, applicants should be competent in providing evidence-based therapies for children with a variety of diagnoses including but not limited to: anxiety, mood disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, learning disorders, ADHD, adjustment disorders, and behavioral/conduct disorders.


Qualifications:

• A doctoral degree in psychology from an American Psychological Association accredited university in either Clinical or School Psychology

• Fully licensed (or licensure eligible) in the State of Mississippi. Must be licensed in state prior to hire.

• Must be eligible for insurance credentialing as in-network

• 3-5 years of related experience is preferred, but not required

• Competent in the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule- 2nd Edition highly preferred, but not required

• Experience with Functional Behavior Assessments, Behavior Support Plans, and Eligibility Determinations preferred, but not required

• Must pass a thorough background check

• Must demonstrate ability to work effectively with diverse populations

• Strong working knowledge of diagnostic techniques and a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities

• Comfortable with parent training and social skills training

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Excellent report writing skills

• Strong familiarity with assessment techniques

• Demonstrated ability to operate within ethical and professional standards of care
