KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Planning and Implementation
- Design and develop new programs in line with the organization’s strategic goals and objectives.
- Coordinate program activities, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, deliverables, and resources required.
- Work with stakeholders to finalize program content, objectives, and outcomes.
Project Management
- Oversee the day-to-day execution of programs, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Coordinate with internal teams, volunteers, and external partners to ensure effective collaboration.
- Monitor program progress and adjust plans as needed to meet goals and deadlines.
Community Engagement and Partnerships
- Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, funders, and other partners to support program development and sustainability.
- Serve as the primary contact for stakeholders, responding to inquiries and maintaining clear communication.
- Represent the organization at community events, meetings, and conferences to promote programs and services.
Fundraising and Grant Writing
- Assist in identifying funding opportunities and preparing grant proposals to secure program funding.
- Collaborate with the development team to create compelling funding proposals and presentations.
- Help develop sponsorship and partnership packages that appeal to potential donors or sponsors.
Budget and Resource Management
- Prepare and manage budgets for programs and projects, ensuring financial resources are used effectively.
- Track program expenses and provide regular reports to management.
- Monitor program costs to ensure financial sustainability and budget compliance.
Evaluation and Reporting
- Design and implement tools for evaluating the effectiveness of programs and measuring outcomes.
- Collect and analyze data to assess program impact and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to share findings with management, funders, and other stakeholders.
Administrative Support
- Manage and maintain program records, including documents, correspondence, and reports.
- Develop promotional materials and communication plans for program outreach and marketing.
- Coordinate meetings, training sessions, and workshops as part of program support.
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, nonprofit management, social work, public relations, or a related field; master’s degree is a plus.
Experience:
At least 2-5 years of experience in program coordination, project management, or a related field.
Skills:
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of fundraising, grant writing, and financial management principles.
Certifications:
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is beneficial.
- Grant writing certification is an advantage.
Working Conditions:
- The work environment is typically an office setting, with time spent in the field or at event venues as needed.
- Occasional work outside normal business hours may be required to meet deadlines or participate in program events.
