Position: Part-Time Outpatient Therapist
Greenville, NC w/ occasional car travel to clinic locations
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Assessments
- Urgency & Complexity Evaluation: Assess client needs to prioritize service interventions.
- Medical Necessity: Evaluate clients to determine if they meet criteria for appropriate care levels.
- Collaboration: Work with the Clinical Director to allocate resources effectively across all sites.
- Referral Qualification: Evaluate incoming referrals to ensure they meet established criteria at all locations.
- Admissions Decisions: Make admission decisions based on company policies.
- Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct diagnostic assessments using standardized tools to gather medical history, mental health status, and social support data.
- Risk & Strength Evaluation: Identify risk factors and available resources to inform treatment planning.
Caseload Management
- Manage a caseload of about 12 Outpatient Therapy (OPT) clients.
- Complete 2-5 Diagnostics Assessments per week.

Required Education and Experience:
- Master's Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Active licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-A, LCMHC, LCMHC-A, LCAS, or equivalent in the state of practice.
- Experience: Preferably 2+ years of post-licensure experience in mental health or substance abuse settings.
- Skills:
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic abilities.
- Excellent communication skills for diverse populations.
- Familiarity with evidence-based practices in mental health and substance abuse.
- EHR Proficiency: Experience using electronic health record systems and knowledge of documentation standards.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations
Must maintain active licensure and board certification according to state requirements.
