Position Overview

Our CPM position is ideal for a Psychiatrist (MD/DO) or Doctor of Nursing (DNP/NP) who holds additional credentials as an LCAS (Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist) or LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker). Key Responsibilities

  • Medical Leadership & Prescribing:
  • Oversee medical care in the facility, including prescribing medications for mental health and addiction disorders.
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medical assessments to guide treatment plans that integrate both medical and behavioral health perspectives.
  • Strategic Clinical Oversight:
  • Lead the development and implementation of clinical protocols, ensuring that both therapeutic and medical services align with evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Director and senior leadership to establish long-term strategies that drive clinical excellence and innovation.
  • Patient Care Integration:
  • Work closely with clinical teams to develop individualized, holistic care plans that combine psychiatric, therapeutic, and addiction treatment approaches.
  • Coordinate care across medical and therapeutic disciplines, ensuring seamless patient experiences and comprehensive support.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance:
  • Ensure all care services meet state and federal regulations, as well as industry best practices.
  • Implement quality assurance programs to monitor and enhance patient outcomes, focusing on continuous improvement of clinical care.
  • Mentorship & Staff Development:
  • Lead and mentor a team of psychiatrists, therapists, and clinical staff, fostering a culture of professional development and collaboration.
  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance, particularly on complex cases requiring medical and psychiatric expertise.
  • Clinical Research & Innovation:
  • Promote research initiatives and stay at the forefront of advancements in psychiatric care, addiction treatment, and behavioral health therapies.
  • Spearhead efforts to integrate new methodologies and evidence-based practices into the facility’s care models.


Qualifications

  • Required:
  • MD/DO or DNP/NP with Board Certification in Psychiatry.
  • Active licensure as an LCAS or LCSW (or willingness to obtain dual credentials).
  • Proven experience in medical and psychiatric leadership within behavioral health or substance abuse settings.
  • Preferred:
  • Experience leading clinical operations in a multidisciplinary, integrated care environment.
  • Expertise in addiction medicine, including pharmacological treatment for substance use disorders.
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with a passion for mentoring and developing clinical teams.
  • Exceptional diagnostic, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
