POSITION: Accounts Receivable Clerk
JOB SUMMARY
The Accounts Receivable Clerk will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining the company’s financial health by ensuring timely collection of receivables. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be proficient in handling financial transactions, resolving billing issues, and maintaining accurate records.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Process incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
2. Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables' data.
3. Record remittances and bank deposits.
4. Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
5. Verify discrepancies resolve clients’ billing issues.
6. Facilitate collection payments due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.
7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure billing accuracy and resolve payment issues.
8. Vendor Credits Processing: -Update and process vendor credits and credit memos on a weekly basis.
-Coordinate with roasters and internal departments to ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
9. Credit Card Reconciliation:
- Reconcile company credit card transactions daily and allocate transactions to the appropriate GL categories.
- Communicate with cardholders to clarify and verify charges as needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
1. Proven working experience as Accounts Receivable Clerk, Accounts Receivable Manager, or accountant.
2. Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
3. Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
4. Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
5. Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
6. Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).
7. Customer service orientation and negotiation skills.
8. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
9. BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration preferred.
SCHEDULE – 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
JOB TYPE – Full time

REPORTING STRUCTURE – Reports directly to Financial Controller
SALARY RANGE OF POSITION – $24- $26 per hour
