Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Pricing & Promotions Specialist to join our team. The Pricing & Promotions Specialist will play a crucial role in driving business growth via submissions of new item forms, promotional contracts and price changes. This position requires strong attention to detail, keying accuracy and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pricing Analysis: Collaborate with sales, business development, and finance teams to set and adjust pricing based on market conditions and business objectives.
• Pricing Implementation: Implement approved pricing strategies across all products and retailers. Ensure pricing changes are accurately reflected in company’s ERP system.
• Promotional Support: Collaborate with business development team to set promotional calendars and submit all supporting contracts.
• New Item Support: Completing necessary forms for submitting new items to retailers when requested.
• Data Management and Reporting: Maintain accurate pricing databases and ensure all pricing information is up-to-date.
• Prepare regular reports on sales and pricing performance, highlighting key insights and recommendations for pricing adjustments.

Qualifications:

• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in retailer forms and/or portals.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the wholesale distribution industry (1WorldSync, Whole Foods VIP, APP, DemandTec).
• Familiarity with pricing software and ERP systems.
