West Nottingham Academy, a premier independent boarding school located in Colora, MD, has several Paid Internship openings  for the 2022-2023 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a vibrant and fun school atmosphere. Positions are available in several specialties including:

GENERAL RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Tasks directly related to the internship's specialty as determined by the intern's manager.
• Duty Team Responsibilities – one (1) weekend each month, and one (1) night during each week.
• Serve as an advisor up to 8 students.
• Responsible for regular attendance at all school meetings, faculty meetings and department meetings unless prior arrangements are made.
• Sharing main meals with students on duty nights.
• Attending certain programmatic school events such as Convocation, Nottingham Open, Parent’s Weekend, Christmas at Nottingham, Annual Fundraiser, Commencement, test preparation, etc. whether these are held during the week or on weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree.
• Specialty Experience preferred, but at minimum a strong desire to pursue a career in that area.
• Communication Skills at all levels.
• Ability to be flexible week and weekends.
• Boarding School Experience preferred.

COMPENSATION: Employment agreement with a fixed semi-monthly salary, housing contract, and dining included.
