West Florida Trimlight is looking for exceptional Trimlight Installers to join in lighting up the Bradenton, Sarasota, and surrounding areas!

We are a fast-growing company looking to become the market leader in a newly developing demand for programmable outdoor lighting. We provide permanent and programmable exterior lighting for homes, businesses, pool enclosures, docks, decks, and patios. We are looking for someone with a competitive drive and who is looking for an opportunity to grow with us as we are positioned to scale up quickly.

The Role:

As a Trimlight Installer, you will be responsible for measuring & installing cut-to-fit aluminum lighting channels along residential homes, commercial buildings, docks, and patio decks. You will also be responsible for splicing low-voltage power wire and wiring electrical power supplies (Basic electrical wiring into control box). This position requires a lot of installations to be performed in the air, sometimes as high as 30-40ft, although the average working height on a typical job is about 8-24ft.

Location:

Our territory is based in Bradenton, Parrish, Sarasota, and surrounding areas. We travel all around frequently for job sites/ installations.

Pay:

Our pay scale is a piecemeal rate depending on the footage and type of lighting being installed. You will be paid an hourly rate of $15 while in training for the first 3-5 days. Once training is completed and you are ready to "go live" you will earn your proportionate share of the Job's Pay, generally equating to $20-$50/hour. You are paid weekly on Fridays.

Hours:

20-40 hrs./week; 8am – pm M-F

Overtime generally is available during the holidays based on customer demand. Many jobs can be completed in less than a full day's work, yet your pay is the same no matter what hours are spent on the jobsite. This allows our technicians to end their day early or move on to the next job, their choice. We value efficiency and work-life balance tremendously.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Must have your own car and a valid driver’s license. Preferably a truck where you can load channel and ladders
• Experience using hand and electrical tools. Having your own tools is a PLUS
• Any experience in skilled labor such as: Carpentry, Electrical, Roofing, Gutter & Siding, etc
• Not afraid of heights
• Great communication and attention to detail is a MUST
• Good relationship skills with customers. Able to represent company culture well.
• Able to work well with others and be a strong team player
• Able to work well in outside conditions
• Able to work quickly without sacrificing quality
• Clean work at a strong pace
• Reliability: Showing up on time, in uniform, ready to perform well
