New graduates and experienced technicians welcome
Wenatchee Valley Humane Society is hiring a full-time Licensed Veterinary Technician for our veterinary clinic. You’ll work alongside a lead LVT, experienced veterinarians, a clinic manager, and a staff of veterinary assistants. Your focus will be hands-on patient care, with minimal responsibility for training other staff.
Two days each week focus primarily on surgery, with a mix of surgery and public appointments on the remaining days. No on-call & no weekends.
You’ll help prepare patients, monitor anesthesia, support recovery, and provide care during public appointments. Our lead LVT and experienced veterinarians provide clinical guidance and support. New graduates are welcome, with onboarding and mentorship tailored to their experience.
Prior shelter experience is not required. Spanish language skills are welcome but not required. Technicians credentialed in other states and recent veterinary technology graduates are encouraged to apply.
Our clinic serves both shelter animals and pets belonging to community members who need affordable veterinary care. You’ll contribute directly to animals’ recovery, readiness for adoption, and ability to stay with the families who love them.
This is an active clinical position involving standing, bending, animal handling, and lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance. The work includes exposure to cleaning agents, medical equipment, and animals with varying medical and behavioral needs.
