Wenatchee Valley Humane Society (WVHS) is seeking an organized, creative, and community-minded Development & Events Coordinator to help bring fundraising events to life, build lasting donor relationships, and strengthen the community support that makes our lifesaving work possible.
Working alongside our Development Director, you'll play a key role in coordinating engaging events, supporting fundraising initiatives, and ensuring donors and community partners feel valued. This is an opportunity to combine your organizational talents, relationship-building skills, and passion for making a difference.

You’re a detail-oriented, dependable professional who enjoys connecting with people, managing projects, and turning plans into results. You thrive in a collaborative environment, communicate confidently, and bring both creativity and accountability to your work.
You'll bring a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of nonprofit experience, strong organizational and customer service skills, and proficiency with Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and databases. Financial tracking and accurate recordkeeping are important parts of your skill set.
A valid Washington State driver's license (or ability to obtain one) and the ability to pass a Washington State Patrol background check are required.

Work Environment
This position combines office-based administrative work with active event coordination at WVHS and community venues, including setup and cleanup. Occasional evening and weekend hours are required for scheduled events. Flexibility, professionalism, and the ability to manage changing priorities are essential.
