Job Title: Family Medicine Physician

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Cumberland, Maryland

Reports To: Chief Medical Officer

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated, skilled, and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join our family medicine clinic. Our providers will deliver full-spectrum primary care services to patients of all ages, with a focus on health promotion, disease prevention, and diagnosis and management of acute and chronic illnesses in a patient-centered environment. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, adaptable, and committed to practicing in a collaborative, team-based setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to individuals and families across the lifespan.
• 
  
• Conduct physical examinations, obtain medical histories, and order or interpret diagnostic tests.
• 
  
• Diagnose and treat common acute and chronic medical conditions.
• 
  
• Develop and manage treatment plans, prescribe medications, and make referrals to specialists when needed.
• 
  
• Perform in-office procedures (e.g., suturing, skin lesion removal, joint injections, women’s health procedures) as appropriate to training and scope.
• 
  
• Educate patients and families on wellness, prevention, and disease management.
• 
  
• Collaborate with other clinical staff, including medical assistants, behavioral health providers, and specialists.
• 
  
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
• 
  
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, team meetings, and continuing medical education (CME) activities.
• 
  
• Adhere to evidence-based clinical guidelines and standards of care.

Qualifications:

• Required Education:
• 
  
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school AND Completion of an accredited Family Medicine or Med/Peds residency program AND Board eligible
• 
  
• Licensure & Certification:
• 
  
• Board Certified or Board eligible in Family Medicine or Med/Peds with current, unrestricted state medical license active or pending.
• 
  

AND

• DEA license and BLS/ACLS certification
• 
  
• Preferred Experience:
• 
  
• Experience in independent practice as attending or moonlighting during residency is preferred, but new graduates welcome!
• 
  
• Experience working with diverse populations or in community health preferred

• Monday through Friday standard working hours with one late night from 10-7
