THE ROLE
The Program Manager is the operational engine behind WeCode KC's educational programs. You will ensure that every program — from Saturday coding sessions to in-school partnerships — runs with precision, purpose, and the kind of excellence our students deserve. You will manage the LMS, lead program coordinators and interns, build community partnerships, and bring data to life in stakeholder reports that tell the full story of our impact.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead and manage WeCode KC's educational technology programs end-to-end, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and measurable goals
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all Saturday programming — planning, staffing, execution, and quality assurance (Saturday availability is required)
- Administer, optimize, and maintain the learning management system (LMS) to support program delivery and track participant progress
- Recruit, supervise, and develop program coordinators, subject matter experts, content developers, and interns
- Partner with academic leaders and program leads to deepen the integration of technology across all educational initiatives
- Develop and implement assessment tools to measure program effectiveness and track student outcomes against grant and organizational goals
- Build and maintain partnerships with schools, community organizations, and tech industry collaborators to expand reach and impact
- Prepare and present enrollment data, program updates, and outcomes reports to internal and external stakeholders
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in educational technology and lead the evaluation, adoption, and retirement of ed-tech tools
- Foster clear, consistent communication and collaboration across the program team and the broader organization

- 3+ years of program management experience, preferably in a nonprofit, education, or youth-serving organization
- Experience with STEAM curriculum, technology education, or comparable technical program delivery
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment

- Proficiency with LMS platforms and comfort adopting new technology tools
- A genuine passion for educational equity and the communities WeCode KC serves
