We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Ceramic Liner Technician to join our team. The Ceramic Liner Technician will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining ceramic liners in various industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ceramic tile work, or concrete experience. Will provide on the job training for the right candidate. Salary based on experience.

Description

Key Responsibilities

· Install ceramic liners in industrial equipment, such as pipes, chutes, and tanks.

· Inspect existing ceramic liners for damage or wear and perform repairs or replacements as needed.

· Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop and implement ceramic lining solutions for specific applications.

· Prepare surfaces for ceramic lining by cleaning, sandblasting, or applying primer as necessary.

· Mix and apply ceramic coating materials according to manufacturer specifications.

· Ensure proper curing and adhesion of ceramic coatings through monitoring temperature and humidity conditions.

· Conduct quality control checks to ensure that ceramic liners meet performance and durability standards.

· Document work performed, including materials used, labor hours, and any issues encountered.

· Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working with ceramic materials and industrial equipment.

· Coordinate scheduling and logistics for ceramic lining projects with clients and project managers.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications and Experiences

· Proven experience working with ceramic tile installation or concrete work.

· Strong understanding of ceramic properties, application techniques, and curing processes.

· Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.

· Familiarity with surface preparation techniques such as sandblasting and priming.

· Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

· Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

· Willingness to travel to various job sites and work flexible hours as needed.

· Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols at all times.


Education

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in ceramics or a related field is preferred.


Physical Requirements

· Must be able to lift 50lbs

· This position requires standing for extended periods.

· Able to maneuver around equipment and projects physically

 

Must be willing to work overtime during the week and on weekends as necessary.


$1,000 Hiring Bonus ($500/3 months, $500/6 months)
