GritCycle Team Members are passionate, experience focused, positive and hard-working individuals with a love for health and fitness and an excitement for our brand. We are a family owned company looking for hyper-organized, efficient, forward-thinking problem-solvers with exceptional interpersonal skills and attention to detail, and the desire to be a part of building a stronger Grit community. Part-time employees must have at least 3 days of availability week-over-week, ranging from 16 to 24 hours a week, with at least one of those days being a Saturday or Sunday. Additionally, all employees are expected to be available to work peak holiday shifts.

Job Summary:

 

GritCycle Team Members are passionate, positive, and hard-working individuals with a

love for health and fitness. A Grit Team Member works part-time and must have at least 3

days of availability. Grit Team Members are passionate about GritCycle and strive to

create a client-focused experience while implementing tasks to maintain studio

cleanliness. Grit Team Member staff are responsible for being the first friendly face that

clients experience when entering any GritCycle studio. They are to assist in getting new

clients acclimated, set up, and comfortable. In addition, they are responsible for cleaning

the studio according to a checklist provided and assisting the Manager on Duty in the

daily operations to keep class flow running smoothly. The Grit Team Member staff must

possess excellent customer service skills and be able to work in a fast-paced customer

service centered environment. They report to the Operations Manager and/or Studio

Manager.


Key Responsibilities of the Job:


Shift Tasks

  • Provide high-level customer service and hospitality to clients
  • Operate within the assigned duties for their scheduled shift (Client Support
  • and/or Facilities) including cleaning checklists
  • Provide support to the GritCycle instructors to ensure a successful class check-in process
  • Maintain an active CPR certification and uphold protocol for client and staff safety
  • Maintain the distinct GritCycle aesthetic, appearance, atmosphere, and culture
  • Ensure that Loss Prevention Practices are being implemented within the studio
  • Is careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks
  • Use Mariana Tek to support studio operations


Working With Others

  • Contribute to a respectful and inclusive team environment to ensure a supportive

and engaging experience for all team members and clients

  • Creates/supports an inclusive environment that values/celebrates differences
  • Establish supportive and productive relationships with managers and team members
  • Contribute to creating a fun environment and helping team members see how the

work supports the success of the studios and GritCycle overall

Eligibility

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be able to attest to employment authorization
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have employment eligibility and identity documents
  • Must have the ability to travel to studios and headquarters with own transportation methods


Availability

  • Willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings or late nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must have the ability to attend one staff meeting per quarter
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week, with the availability to work

one Saturday or Sunday a week.


Other Willingness Requirements

  • Willing to work in an environment with bright lights and loud music
  • Willing to stand and/or sit for long periods of time
  • Willing to move boxes weighing up to 30 lbs (13.6 kg)
  • Willing to work as part of a team and also complete some work independently


Job Assets (i.e., nice to have; not required)

  • Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Knowledge and experience with Mariana Tek

Salary

$16 - $17 per hour
