Job Description

Water’s Edge Counseling is in search of a Licensed Couples and Marriage Therapist to join a growing private practice. This individual will be available to see at least 25 clients per week. The candidate must have at least 2-4 years experience working with couples, ideally specific training in working with this population. The therapist will network in the community, complete clinical paperwork, engage in peer supervision, demonstrate flexibility, and be self-motivated.


Preferred experience working with couples, families, and trauma.

QUALIFICATIONS: Successful completion of master's or doctorate degree in social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, professional counseling, or related degree. The candidate must be fully licensed in the state of Georgia. The ideal counselor will have at least 2 years of experience working directly with couples and training in this area of work.


JOB TYPE: Employee position. Part-time for the first three months while building a caseload to full-time, seeing at least 25 clients per week.


PAY: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour with additional opportunities for extra pay such as administrative pay and bonuses
