About Watchmen Investigations & Cybersecurity

Watchmen Investigations & Cybersecurity is a growing investigations firm running two service lines: cyber investigations and physical private investigation and surveillance. We're building out our case management team to keep pace with client demand — and we need someone who can run both client relationships. Please be aware that we are rebranding from Swift to Watchmen.

The Role

Once a client signs on and their case is activated, you become their case manager — their single point of contact from day one of the investigation through case closure. You're not doing sales. You're running the case: Coordinating with private investigators, tracking evidence, managing client expectations, and keeping a caseload of active, live investigations moving forward at once.

This role requires that you already hold current BSIS Qualified Manager status.

This is a hybrid role: Mostly remote, with occasional in-person team syncs at our Irvine office.

What You'll Do

  • Own a caseload of active client cases from activation to close — you are the client's main point of contact throughout.
  • Assign and brief the right licensed PI for each case based on location and case type; adjust schedules in real time as situations change.
  • Communicate with clients primarily by text and phone — frequent, fast-turnaround updates, often during emotionally high-stakes moments (infidelity, custody, harassment, financial exploitation).
  • Collect and organize client-submitted evidence (photos, video, screenshots, account access) into the case file.
  • Coordinate directly with clients' attorneys when a case is court- or attorney-driven.
  • Know when a case needs to expand beyond the standard scope and communicate that clearly and fairly to the client.
  • Ensure licensure is current with all Private Investigators.
  • Maintain investigative compliance for the firm.

What You'll Need

  • Comfortable managing multiple active cases at once.
  • Confident, calm, and clear written communicator.
  • Even-keeled under pressure; able to support clients emotionally without over-promising outcomes.
  • Comfortable with case-management tools and scheduling.
  • Prior experience as a case manager, paralegal, claims handler, or investigator is a strong plus.

Compensation & Logistics

Salary: $75,000-$95,000/year base, depending on experience, competitive for a licensed BSIS Qualified Manager in the Irvine/Los Angeles market.

Location: Hybrid - mostly remote, with occasional in-person team syncs at our Irvine, CA office.

Salary

$75,000 - $95,000 per year
