This isn't your typical cleaning job! You'll work with professional pressure-washing equipment, specialized tools, and a team of technicians to clean and maintain commercial kitchen exhaust systems in restaurants and other commercial facilities throughout Central Iowa.

No experience? No problem! We provide paid, hands-on training to teach you everything you need to know.

What You'll Be Doing

As a member of our Hood Cleaning Team, you'll help keep commercial kitchens clean, safe, and compliant with fire prevention standards.

Your work will include:

• Using professional pressure washers and specialized equipment to clean commercial kitchen exhaust systems.
• Removing grease buildup from exhaust hoods, ductwork, and ventilation fans.
• Setting up equipment, ladders, hoses, and protective coverings at job sites.
• Inspecting equipment and documenting completed work with before-and-after photos.
• Cleaning up work areas and leaving customer kitchens in great condition.
• Maintaining company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Working safely and following established procedures.

You'll be doing work that matters. Properly maintained kitchen exhaust systems help prevent dangerous grease fires and keep commercial kitchens operating safely.

You don't need previous hood cleaning experience to succeed in this position. We're happy to train the right person!

Our ideal candidate is someone who:

• Has a strong work ethic and shows up on time, ready to work.

• Takes pride in doing quality work and paying attention to detail.
• Works well with others and has a positive attitude.
• Is available to work their assigned day or night shift, including occasional weekends.
• Can lift and carry up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces.
• Is comfortable working in hot, cold, humid, and greasy environments.

Additional Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to our Des Moines location.
• Ability to pass a motor vehicle record check and safely operate a company vehicle, including towing a small trailer.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Experience with pressure washing, mechanical work, HVAC, electrical work, industrial cleaning, or commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning is a plus, but not required.
