Warrior Epoxy is looking for dependable, hard-working Coatings Technicians to join our installation team in Odessa, Texas.

We specialize in professional concrete coatings, polished concrete, luxury vinyl flake systems, metallic epoxy, concrete overlays, and commercial flooring systems throughout West Texas.

This is a hands-on skilled-trade position with an opportunity to learn professional flooring systems, develop technical skills, and advance as your abilities and responsibilities grow.

Previous coatings experience is not required. Experience in construction, concrete, flooring, painting, industrial work, oilfield work, or another hands-on trade is a plus. We are willing to train the right candidate.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Prepare concrete using industrial grinders and surface-preparation equipment

• Operate planetary grinders, hand grinders, industrial vacuums, and power tools

• Grind and prepare edges, corners, joints, cracks, and other areas

• Perform concrete repairs and surface preparation

• Mix and apply epoxy, polyaspartic, urethane, and other coating systems

• Install decorative flake flooring systems

• Assist with metallic epoxy installations

• Assist with polished concrete and concrete overlay systems

• Load, unload, organize, clean, and properly care for tools and equipment

• Maintain clean and organized jobsites

• Protect customer property and surrounding work areas

• Follow company installation procedures and safety requirements

• Work efficiently as part of a crew to complete projects to Warrior Epoxy quality standards

Construction, concrete, flooring, painting, industrial, oilfield, or other hands-on experience is preferred, but not required.

SCHEDULE & PROJECT WORK

This position is project-based, and schedules are determined by our current project workload.

Candidates should understand that weekly hours may vary depending on project scheduling and workload. There may occasionally be periods of reduced hours or gaps between scheduled projects.

When projects are active, employees may also have opportunities for additional hours and overtime.

Projects may require:

• Early morning start times

• Variable start and finish times

• Overtime when necessary

• Occasional out-of-town travel

• Residential and commercial jobsite work

Our work is primarily throughout Odessa, Midland, and West Texas, with occasional travel for commercial projects.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This is an active construction position. Essential duties may involve standing and walking for extended periods, bending, kneeling, working around construction equipment, and lifting or moving materials, tools, and equipment.

Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

PAY & TRAINING

$18–$24 per hour depending on experience and demonstrated skill level.
