We are looking for several part-time Community Organizers for the 2026 election season. An organizer is responsible for building relationships and engaging Latino voters and community members to increase civic participation and voter turnout in the election. This is a grassroots, community-facing role focused on outreach, leadership, identification and voter engagement. This position works 10-20 hors per week, mostly Saturdays and Sundays, with some evenings.

Community Organizers - Seasonal, Part-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage Latino voters at community events, local businesses, and church events. 
  • Conduct phone banking and door knocking on evenings and weekends to increase Latino voter turnout in local elections. 
  • Build relationships within the Latino community to strengthen local civic engagement.
  • Regularly track outreach data and report weekly activities.
  • Support additional organizing efforts as needed and other duties as assigned.


Requirements

  • Must have access to a reliable car
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English required
  • Must be able to work days on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and at least one evening (between 5-8 pm)
  • Available to work a minimum of 10-20 hours per week
  • Passion for community organizing and building Latino community power
  • Strong ability to influence and motivate others
  • Organized and able to track data accurately 
  • NOT A REMOTE POSITION


Physical and Schedule Requirements

  • Ability to walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. 
  • Flexibility to work during peak campaign periods.


Compensation

  • $20-$30 per hour, depending on experience
