The Play Space Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the overall success and operation of the play space. This position is responsible for managing staff, including Play Facilitators and Keyholders, by overseeing scheduling, resolving conflicts, and ensuring everyone is trained and prepared for their roles. A key part of the role is anticipating and resolving any operational problems that may arise, ensuring that the space runs smoothly.
The Manager will take the lead in organizing and heading up special events, playdates, and themed activities that enhance the visitor experience. They will also be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and well-stocked environment, ensuring that play areas are fully equipped and that all necessary supplies are on hand. The Manager will plan and oversee regular cleaning days to ensure the facility meets high standards of hygiene and safety.
In addition to their leadership duties, the Play Space Manager will collaborate with the team to implement new initiatives and foster a fun, engaging environment for both staff and visitors. This role requires a proactive problem-solver with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
