You will serve as a primary group facilitator for our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and support our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) as needed. This is an opportunity to practice across two levels of care in a boutique setting, with room to grow into supervision and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead IOP Groups: Facilitate IOP Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons, 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM (three 1-hour sessions, mostly virtual), creating a safe, dynamic, and empathetic milieu for clients engaging with anxiety, depression, and trauma. We do not accept active psychosis, aggressive detox, or acuity that belongs in a hospital setting.
• Support PHP: Earn additional pay by leading PHP sessions when IOP is not meeting. PHP is always in person and runs Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, in five 1-hour sessions.
• Design Curriculum: Design engaging, evidence-based group topics (e.g., Art Therapy, ACT, Mindfulness) in collaboration with our Clinical Director, and help launch our in-person IOP step-down group or expand our virtual group.
• Coordinate Care: Manage intakes, help oversee daily group schedules, complete timely and accurate documentation, and collaborate with the treatment team and families to ensure a holistic approach to client support.
• Manage Risk: Conduct risk assessments and respond to crises with sound clinical judgment, in partnership with clinical leadership.

• Predictable Schedule: IOP meets Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM. IOP is currently mostly virtual, with the potential to expand to an in-person group. No evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts.
• Additional PHP Pay: Pick up in-person PHP sessions for additional pay whenever IOP is not meeting. PHP runs five 1-hour sessions daily, Monday–Friday.

• Collaborative Leadership: You will report directly to the Clinical Director and contribute to program operations and quality of care.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in Virginia, in good standing.
• Education: Master's Degree in Counseling.
• Experience: Previous group facilitation experience is required (IOP, PHP, or Inpatient experience is a strong plus).
• Attributes: We are looking for a clinician who balances clinical expertise with creativity. You should feel comfortable facilitating dynamic groups and addressing complex situations with calm confidence.

Compensation

• Base Pay: $35–$38 per hour, based on experience, for all hours worked, including groups, documentation, and intakes.
• Hours: Approximately 15–20 hours per week (9 hours of IOP groups, plus PHP groups, documentation, and care coordination).
• Monthly Census Bonus: Earn $250/month when the groups you lead average 5–7 clients, or $500/month when they average 8–10 clients.
• Benefits: Free professional training and CEUs. This part-time position is not eligible for medical, retirement, or PTO benefits.
