Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of dedicated veterinary assistants and technicians during shifts.
- Build strong client rapport, empathizing with their concerns and communicating effectively.
- Conduct examinations, create treatment plans, and communicate financial expectations with clients.
- Oversee outpatient and emergency case care, performing emergency procedures and surgery.
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold the highest standards of patient care.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle the physical and emotional aspects of veterinary clinic work.
- Active listening, critical thinking, and complex problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
- Availability for overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts within a rotating schedule.
Education & Licensure:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university.
- Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Idaho.
