VIDA Global Inc. Founding Director of Channel Development Remote · Full time

Vida is hiring a Founding Director of Channel Development to own the day-to-day recruitment and management of our partner channel as part of a growing, high-momentum Partnerships team.

Description

Overview

Vida is hiring a Director of Channel Development to own the day-to-day recruitment and management of our partner channel as part of a growing, high-momentum Partnerships team. Working hand-in-hand with AVANT, you will recruit, onboard, and activate their Channel Managers and Trusted Advisors, and then manage those relationships day-to-day, enabling advisors to confidently position, recommend, and sell Vida to their customers. This is a hands-on, quota-carrying role for a mid-level channel professional who thrives on building trusted relationships with experienced advisors, driving partner-sourced pipeline, and turning partners into productive, revenue-generating channels. The ideal candidate already knows how the agent/TSD channel works, can quickly earn credibility with seasoned advisors, and is energized by being early enough to shape how Vida goes to market through partners.

About Vida

Vida is a publicly traded, early-stage AI company building an AI Agent Operating System that enables businesses and partners to create, deliver, and manage AI workforces. Our platform powers AI agents that communicate, automate workflows, connect with business software, and help teams operate more efficiently across channels and systems.

We are at an important stage of the product and the company. The core platform is expanding across voice, messaging, computer-use agents, reseller tooling, integrations, analytics, and reliability, security, and operational controls. As the product grows, our channel and the partners, advisors, and distributors who bring Vida to market will be one of our most important engines of growth.

About the Role

We are hiring a Channel Manager to help build Vida's partner channel from an early stage.

This is a hands-on, quota-carrying role that spans two things in equal measure: recruiting new advisors into the Vida channel, and managing those relationships day-to-day so they stay an active and productive source of opportunities for the company. In the near term, your focus is our partnership with Avant and includes recruiting, onboarding, and continuously supporting Avant's Channel Managers and Trusted Advisors. You will be in charge of equipping TAs to position Vida and driving partner-sourced pipeline through their customer relationships. Over time, you will help expand and systematize how Vida recruits and activates partners more broadly. This is a mid-level individual-contributor role, not a strategy or leadership seat — the work is in the daily relationships, enablement, and deals.

You will report to Jordan Gadapee, CMO, and partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product. This is an ideal role for someone who understands the agent/TSD channel, loves building relationships, and wants the ownership and upside of helping define a channel program early.

What You'll Work On

Vida's product is powerful and technically differentiated. Your job is to make it easy for partners to understand, trust, position, and sell — and to turn partner relationships into real, repeatable revenue.

Examples of what you may work on include:

  • Recruiting, onboarding, and activating new partners, starting with Avant's Channel Managers and Trusted Advisors.
  • Enabling partners who are new to Vida through training, positioning, demos, and sales support, so they can confidently recommend us.
  • Building relationships across the TSD/agency ecosystem and becoming Vida's trusted point of contact for partners.
  • Driving partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline, and supporting partners through deals as a co-seller.
  • Establishing lightweight partner processes: deal registration, onboarding flows, enablement materials, and partner communications.
  • Working with marketing on co-marketing, partner campaigns, events, and market development activity.

What You'll Do

Partner Recruitment & Activation

  • Recruit, onboard, and launch new partners, with an initial focus on activating Avant's Channel Managers and Trusted Advisors.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of prospective partners; own the process of signing and launching them.
  • Turn newly signed partners into active, producing sellers — measured by time-to-first-deal and partner activation rate.

Partner Enablement

  • Train partners and advisors on Vida's product, positioning, use cases, and competitive differentiation.
  • Create and deliver enablement materials such as pitch decks, one-pagers, demo scripts, and battlecards that are tailored to a partner audience.
  • Serve as the go-to resource for partners' questions, deal support, and product guidance.

Co-Selling & Pipeline

  • Carry a partner-sourced revenue target and own the number.
  • Support partners and advisors through active opportunities as a co-seller, coordinating with Vida's direct sales team.
  • Maintain a clean pipeline, forecasting, and partner activity reporting in the CRM.
  • Manage deal registration and help keep channel and direct efforts aligned and conflict-free.

Program & Relationship Management

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with partners, advisors, and TSD/distributor contacts.
  • Represent Vida at partner events, QBRs, trainings, and industry gatherings (travel expected).
  • Share partner and market insights with product, marketing, and leadership.
  • Help define and improve Vida's partner program as it scales.

What We're Looking For

  • 4–8 years in channel/partner sales, partner/alliance management, or a TSD/agency environment.
  • Experience working with or through the TA/AVANT channel through sales and support. Existing relationships within AVANT and its advisor community required.
  • The credibility and presence to earn the attention of seasoned Trusted Advisors, who choose which vendors to put in front of their clients.
  • A track record of recruiting, enabling, and driving revenue through partners who did not previously sell your product.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and comfort being the face of the company to partners.
  • Ability to enable and teach — turning a complex product into a story partners can confidently retell.
  • Comfort carrying and owning a quota, with strong pipeline discipline.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • High ownership, self-direction, and comfort in an early-stage, fast-moving environment.
  • Willingness to travel to partners, events, and trainings.

Important to Have

  • Experience selling or enabling in telecom, UCaaS, CCaaS, voice, messaging, or AI/automation categories.
  • Experience building a partner/channel program from an early stage.
  • Familiarity with deal registration, partner portals, MDF/co-marketing, and channel operations.
  • Experience co-selling alongside a direct sales team.

What Success Looks Like

In your first few months, you will build strong relationships with Avant's Channel Managers and Trusted Advisors, onboard them to Vida, and begin generating partner-sourced pipeline. You will establish the enablement materials and onboarding motion that make new partners productive quickly. Over your first year, you will grow the number of active, producing partners, hit your partner-sourced revenue target, and help lay the foundation for a repeatable partner program that Vida can scale beyond its first relationships.

Why Join Vida

  • Help build the partner channel for a company creating foundational software for AI employees and agents.
  • Work on one of the most important shifts in software and workforce development: AI agents that communicate, operate, and complete real business work.
  • Be a founding member of a growing Partnerships team with room to grow your career.
  • Own a high-leverage channel with meaningful upside and visibility across the company.
  • Partner closely with sales, marketing, product, and leadership.
