We are offering an opportunity to passionate and motivated individuals who are currently enrolled in an undergraduate program and interested in pursuing a career in physical therapy. This position offers hands-on experience in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Description

• Paid internship ($16.50/hour)
• 12 hours per week minimum required with flexible scheduling to accommodate academic commitments
• Minimum of 150 hours total
• Opportunities to learn more about the profession and what it’s really like working in a sports focused clinic from both the physical therapists’ and administrative side.

This role is ideal for you if:

• You are passionate about helping others achieve their health and wellness goals.
• You are planning to apply to a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
• You have a strong work ethic and are adaptable, ready to take on any responsibilities needed to support the team and create an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities:

• Support physical therapists in non-clinical tasks including setting patients up with Normatec compression therapy and maintaining a clean and organized gym space.
• Assist the front of house staff with administrative tasks.
• Opportunities to shadow physical therapists as they work 1-on-1 with clients.
