Our sales team is the core of our business, and we are investing in a dedicated Corporate Sales Trainer to develop, train, and elevate that team to peak performance.


Role Overview

The Corporate Sales Trainer is responsible for building and delivering a world-class sales training program for Victory Energy’s sales teams. You will own onboarding for all new sales hires, deliver ongoing skills development training, systems training, and work directly with sales leadership to identify performance gaps and close them. This is a remote role with travel to sales markets as needed. You will report directly to Vice President of Field Sales and have a direct impact on revenue performance across the organization.


What You'll Do


Training & Development

  • Design and deliver all onboarding programs for new sales hires.
  • Develop a structured sales training curriculum covering product knowledge, the sales process, objection handling, closing techniques, and compensation plan mechanics.
  • Develop and facilitate ongoing skills training 
  • Conduct live virtual and in-person training sessions, role plays, and workshops on a regular cadence.
  • Build and maintain a training library of videos, scripts, playbooks, and reference materials.
  • Continuously update training content to reflect new products, pricing changes, market conditions, and company initiatives.


Strategy & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with sales leadership to align training initiatives with company revenue goals and hiring plans.
  • Partner with the recruiting team to ensure new hires are onboarded and ramped efficiently.
  • Recommend tools, platforms, and methodologies to improve training effectiveness.


What We're Looking For


Required

  • 3+ years of sales training experience, ideally in solar, home services, or outside sales.
  • Proven ability to build training programs 
  • Proven experience in sales training, enablement, or coaching roles.
  • Exceptional presentation, facilitation, and communication skills — equally effective in-person and virtually.
  • Experience coaching both new hires and seasoned reps across different skill levels.
  • Self-directed and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.


Preferred

  • Prior experience as a top-performing B2C sales rep or sales manager.
  • Experience developing LMS (Learning Management System) content or e-learning modules.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Education, or a related field.


Salary

$90,000 - $90,000 per year
