To be successful in this role, you have 5-10 years of experience managing large-scale wayfinding projects. A background with a wayfinding design, architecture, or engineering firm is required.

Responsibilities
- Manage multiple large-scale infrastructure projects, deadlines, and clients simultaneously
- Establish and implement project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards in line with company policies
- Perform with a high level of attention to detail with a proven commitment to high-quality design and execution
- Management of the entire project lifecycle from definition/scope through implementation
- Act as a technical resource for the project team and lead design review meetings
- Lead client communication and coordination, including issuing agendas, notes, and schedules
- Coordinate and prioritize project needs, resources, and information internally and with the client project teams to move the project forward
- Identify required and optional changes in project scope and negotiate changes with clients as warranted or best practices suggest
- Act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, including coordinating with clients, vendors, and other project partners
- Work with the Principal, Project Director, and Marketing Coordinator, contributing to the technical direction of new business proposals, including project scope, budget, and timeline
- Work with the Principal and Project Director on invoicing.
Qualifications
- Proven success in delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget, with high attention to detail, and outstanding organizational skills
- Experience with and enjoyment of face-to-face interaction with clients
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, takes initiative, and is resourceful, with an eagerness to contribute, learn, adapt, and grow
- An open, positive, and empathetic personality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience presenting to clients
- Consistently demonstrate him/herself professionally and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws
- Ability to successfully lead others, including but not limited to planning, assigning, and directing work, resolving problems, training and developing a team, and participating in knowledge transfer
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office programs, and Google Suite Applications.
- This is a full-time hybrid position (3 days in the office). Candidates must have easy access to New York City and the surrounding area, as local travel for meetings or site visits will not be reimbursed.

Required Background
- Bachelor’s degree in design, architecture, engineering, or a related field
- 5-10 years of experience managing wayfinding projects within a wayfinding design, architecture, or engineering firm.
- Understanding of architectural drawings, scale, product materials, and implementation options
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
