Roles and responsibilities
You will be responsible for the development of performance and durability testing of electrolyzer cells and stacks. In this role you are expected to work closely with subject matter experts to develop standard operating procedures for baseline testing of electrolyzer stack. Further, you are expected to develop performance screening, sensitivity, and durability protocols for electrolyzer stacks. You are required to maintain a safe and harassment free workspace. The right candidate will have the ability to understand the material to operating condition interactions and apply those to develop test methods to support stack development.
Required Skills
BS in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
At least 2 years of experience in testing batteries fuel cells, flow batteries or electrolyzers.
Experience in using accelerated stress testing (ASTs).
Passion and drive to streamline and optimize methods for fast and accurate testing.
Ensures adherence to established internal rules and guidelines as well as EHS standards.
Maintain organized records of designs, troubleshooting, testing, test data, and observations.
Preferred Skills
MS in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
At least 5 years of experience in testing batteries, fuel cells, flow batteries or electrolyzers.
At least 2 years of experience in developing or testing stacks though Highly Accelerated Life Tests (HALT)
Experience with conducting failure analysis of stack / cells parts.
