At Versogen (www.versogen.com) we aim to decarbonize the energy, chemical, and manufacturing sectors with our breakthrough Anion Exchange Membrane (AEM) electrolyzers that produce green hydrogen at scale efficiently, reliably, and affordably.
We are looking for research engineer(s) to develop our novel electrodes.
The right candidate for the research engineer - electrodes position will have strong understanding of electrochemical principles and devices. These principles include material development, characterization and testing along with the knowledge of key principles of fuel cell or electrolyzers. Experience in testing membrane electrode assemblies will be a plus to optimize the electrolyzer stack.
The optimized cells and stack developed from the work of the research engineer will enable high performing and durable water electrolysis systems.
Role and Responsibilities:
Synthesize and select suitable catalyst materials to make electrodes for AEM electrolyzers.
Design, fabricate and assemble Membrane Electrode Assemblies (MEAs) for testing.
Perform testing and data analysis of electrolyzers.
Summarize and communicate results/analysis through reports and presentations.
Develop mathematical models to predict and understand the performance of electrode.
