Roles & Responsibilities:
Core Chemical Engineering
Development of production SOP’s and instruction manuals
Engineering and Scale-up
Operate pilot-scale polymer reaction and post-production processes
Troubleshoot pilot controls system as needed
Participate in the startup and demonstration of new or modified plants
Collaborate with external consultants to scaleup and optimize Verosgen’s technology
Innovate on operation solutions including simplifying systems, reducing cost and improving efficiency
Participate in the design of key process equipment
Participate in HAZOP and risk-assessment procedure
Work with other Versogen functions to analyze piloting process data
Review engineering design documents and vendor data
Communicate project lessons, action items, and next steps to Verosgen’s team
Be engaged and participate in standing engineering team and project meetings
The successful candidate has studied chemical engineering at the undergraduate level with three (3) plus years of experience collaborating on engineering/production projects,

Developing chemical processes at the small-scale
Scaling engineering processes from pilot-scale to demonstration-scale
You’re a self-starter with demonstrated ability:
Working on process development with emphasis on small-scale pilot operations
Troubleshooting process control systems
Analyzing and interpreting process data
You’re adaptable with demonstrated ability:
Working in a collaborative, consensus-driven team environment
Taking initiative and problem solving
Pivoting based on evolving project needs
Must be legally authorized to work United States
Able to lift up to 50 lbs
Experience in working with hazardous materials (e.g. strong acids, hazardous chemicals).
