Roles and responsibilities
Design, develop, and build mechatronic communication systems for various test stands. In this role you are expected to develop the equipment required for automated testing of resistance, water and gas permeation and other properties of gas diffusion layers and other components used in the electrolyzer stack. You are required to maintain a safe and harassment free workspace. The right candidate will have the ability to establish effective communication systems for various test stands and perform maintenance and quality checks on them.
BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
At least 5 years of experience in building and testing mechatronic systems.
Experience programing PLCs through LabView, Allen-Bradley or other similar interface s.
Experience designing and building electrical systems.
Experience in creating, editing, and reviewing wiring diagrams.
Passion and drive to perform the prescribed procedures in a lab environment.
Ensures adherence to established internal rules and guidelines as well as EHS standards.
Maintain organized records of designs, troubleshooting, testing, test data, and observations.
10 years of experience in building and testing mechatronic systems.
Experience with developing model-based control systems.
Experience with building or testing process control systems
