Are you the person friends call when their console won’t power on? Do you actually enjoy soldering tiny components and bringing “dead” systems back to life? Vermont Gaming Academy is growing — and we’re looking for a skilled, reliable Repair Technician to join our South Burlington Repair Depot team.
🔧 What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and repair gaming consoles and controllers
- Work on PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo systems, plus handhelds and other devices
- Perform HDMI port repairs
- Complete soldering and micro-soldering work
- Troubleshoot hardware issues and test systems post-repair
- Maintain a clean, organized repair workspace
- Coordinate outgoing shipments, package repaired items securely, and manage drop-off and shipping logistics to ensure timely and accurate delivery to customers
- Communicate clearly with team members about repair timelines and parts needs
🎯 What We’re Looking For
- Hands-on experience repairing consoles and controllers
- Strong soldering and micro-soldering skills (HDMI repair required)
- Comfort working with small components and precision tools
- Ability to diagnose hardware issues independently
- Reliable transportation (must have a car)
- Availability on Mondays and Tuesdays (required)
- Ability to work 10:00am–8:00pm during mall operating hours
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and team-focused
