The Lab Technician is responsible for conducting scientific tests and experiments in a laboratory setting, analyzing data, and providing accurate results to support scientific research and development. The Lab Technician will work with a team of researchers and scientists to perform a variety of laboratory procedures, including preparing and maintaining laboratory equipment, following standard operating procedures, and documenting test results. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A degree in a related scientific field and experience working in a laboratory setting is preferred.

Job Title: Lab Technician
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting routine laboratory tests, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine laboratory tests in accordance with established procedures
- Prepare samples for analysis and record data accurately
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure it is operating correctly
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure the laboratory is in compliance with all safety regulations
- Participate in laboratory maintenance and cleaning activities
- Communicate test results to laboratory personnel and management
- Document and maintain accurate records of test results and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by laboratory management
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field
- Experience working in a laboratory environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and laboratory software
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry laboratory equipment and supplies
- Ability to work in a laboratory environment with exposure to chemicals, fumes, and biological specimens
