This is a full-time remote role for an Immigration Attorney, though some travel may be required. The Immigration Attorney will be responsible for managing immigration issues, processing visas, and ensuring compliance with immigration law. A substantial portion of the Associate Attorney’s time will be dedicated to case review.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze consultation notes, and confirm legal strategy for the case
- Complete a detailed final case review of clients' petitions
- Maintain a high level of communication with the legal team to address legal matters
- Attend USCIS interviews and represent clients in removal proceedings in all states
- Prepare legal documents, including briefs, motions, pleadings and appeals
- Answer client questions
- Analyze information and draft emergency motions
- Innovate, develop, and implement process improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
- At least 2 years of experience in immigration law
- Fully proficient in both English and Spanish
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely - some travel required
